Ive worked with Julian on a number of occasions in both a professional and a personal context. On each occasion Ive found the delivery and outcome to be excellent. He manages to expertly tread the the line between challenge and compassion and as a result our situation has always been vastly improved by enlisting his help. His impact has extended way beyond the initial engagement - as the frameworks and techniques he has introduced continue to inform what we do and how we do it. If you or your teams are struggling to effectively manage highly stressful periods of change - then working with Julian will have a real impact.

I have attended Julian's keeping calm workshop and I took so much from the workshop that is still impacting on my life today. The weekend could be intense and although there is a lot of information to take in, Julian kept the experience fun. I was able to learn a lot about my levels of emotional resilience and more about group process. Particularly useful for me was the technique for challenging and stepping out of stress. I have since read Julian's book which has become my pocket guide. It's a book to keep referring back to. My internal world is a site to support your well - being and is well worth having a look at.

I can't thank Julian enough. Julian's training has developed me in both my professional and personal life. On a wider note I have recognised Calm People's service can provide measurable benefits for our organisation as it expands. Thanks again Julian and I will be in contact soon.

Calm People does exactly what is says on the tin! I attended one of Julian's courses and took so much information about emotional resilience. Writing this midway through 2020, I was able to draw on the skills Julian outlined in his course to "manage" definitely in a way I wouldn't have been able to previously. Many thanks Julian!

I first encountered Julian at a workshop for HR professionals when he presented a one hour interactive session on emotional resilience. I was so impressed, I booked a 1:1 session with him as I felt at a career crossroads and needed to build my self confidence - which our chat did. I then attended his Emotional Resilience and Anger Management weekend, primarily as I thought it would give me valuable tools ie for my HR toolkit - which it did, but it gave me personally so much more insight and understanding of myself, my behaviours, my weaknesses and most importantly, my strengths. Julian facilitated our diverse and emotionally challenging group of 4 participants completely brilliantly. He was very professional yet very empathetic, supportive yet challenging. Over three days, I believe all three participants grew in emotional resilience and self awareness. I have attended many seminars and conferences in my professional life. Julian is, without doubt, one of the best presenters and facilitators I have encountered. Another thing I like about Calm People is that the relationship can continue beyond the end of the course. I've signed up to the Instagram account so regularly receive inspiring messages. I've also signed up to 'My Internal World' - an online toolbox of resources to help me self manage my emotional resilience, mental health and professional confidence.
