Hi everyone Ive had nothing but nightmares with this agent Michael is very unprofessional and owes me money. I was in the middle of purchasing a lease when ellis and ellis asked for a stakeholders deposit of 2000. I paid this after being pushed a lot by the agents they gave me a receipt signed etc for the deposit it states on this receipt that if the deal wasnt completed and if either me the buyer or the seller withdraws from the deal then I should receive the deposit back. Well I didnt go through with the deal, I backed out and gave Ellis and Ellis a call to get this deposit back they made out they had already paid the buyer this deposit and to get it off them. I rang the buyer and made a big deal about but they said they had never received the deposit so then I went back to Ellis and Ellis they told me they had seen me ruining the shop and that means I dont get the deposit back even though no contracts have been exchanged or anything and the shop has actually been closed for months and still is anyways I will be fighting for the money back as we have a breach of contract here as it is in writing that i should receive my money back.. con artist avoid at all costs. I would like to add due to ellis and ellis reply that the court hearing is for a possession claim for the the flat above as i vacated the shop months ago and the stakeholder deposit I left was for the lease for the shop the receipt you gave me states that if the buyer or seller withdraws from this point that the buyer will receive the deposit back so is it a lie because I still have the receipt signed by yourselves and it want you elaborate exactly what these lies are because there are no lies at all.
