Food wasnt great glasses were dirty pasta tasted like mouldy water but they did replace it with chicken nuggets and chip and gave the kids free iced cream one of my daughters had a baskets meal with chicken tikka and chips the tikka sauce was so oily she just ate the chips round it we had mushroom in garlic sauce which were nice but it was sat on a thin piece of toast like a cheap slice of bread but tasted ok just not what you expect.I had steak pie with chips well I ordered it with chip but came with mash. Mash wasnt very nice cold in the middle and had a very funky taste the veg was carrot that were lovely peas were ok and white cabbage which was brown. The pie was lovely the pastry was very nice the meat was nice but the gravy in the pie was like water. The gravy in jug was very thick lumpy but the pie was nice my husband had fish and chips his were lovely homemade chips and hand battled fish, the fish was haddock. The owners couldnt do enough for us. When we told them about the pasta they asked us if we wanted to replace it with no charge. Its definitely one the places to go for customers service. We maybe went on a bad day.
