After having a few weeks of our heating being a bit 'hit & miss' an electrician visited to inspect our control panel, with me thinking it was an electrical issue.... However, it soon became clear it was our oil-fired boiler that was the problem. The electrician called Whitwell service and my wife spoke with John that afternoon... Parts were ordered, and John had arranged for an engineer to visit the following day... This was Saturday let's not forget...! The engineer who visited was brilliant, and unfortunately, I didn't take his name, so can't name him. He inspected the boiler, which to me it looked terrible and had he said it was a write off and needed fully replacing I wouldn't have disagreed, it looked that bad..! However, John and the engineer order the parts they believed would fix the issue, which thankfully it has. The service we received was nothing short of first class and it would have been easy to just say it needed replacing, which they didn't, which to me demonstrates real customer value and trust. I would not hesitate in recommending Whitwell Services to anyone that has any heating issues, these guys were totally brilliant. Thanks to John and the Whitwell Services team.
