Cobblers Cafe

We really look forward to coming to this cafe. The owner when he was around made the place so welcoming. We set off early yesterday morning to have breakfast in this cafe but was left deeply disappointed. On entry, one of the waitresses asked us how many people were attending. After we said 3, she demanded to see who we were, so we counted and pointed the three of us. Next, when I ordered the English breakfast I asked whether the eggs could be poached instead of being fried as I feel a little sick if I can taste the oil. The waitress said they couldn't substitute anything on the menu. I told her it was the same product just cooked differently, but she asked me to choose an avocado breakfast instead, which was a completely different breakfast. I ended up ordering the full English with fried eggs. I was then asked whether I wanted the eggs overdone or runny. I asked could it be in the middle so there isn't any white skim. However, yet again surprise surprise it was not possible. I ended up having oily runny with white skim eggs. I was so put off from the meal and service that it ruined the occasion and safe to say, we won't be returning. There are so many accommodating halal cafes that coming to one that lacked good service did not justify the bill. 49.00 for the three of us.

A very nice and cosy coffee shop in Edmonton. Warm and welcoming. Good selection on the menu. Food came at a good time. Latte was nice. Well cooked and portion size was decent. Reasonably priced. Ideal for families.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! THIEVES!!! went to get my henna done and there was no henna stain!!!! TOOK MY MONEY FOR NOTHING!! went to ask for a refund with evidence and they didnt even respond such bad customer service!! VILE THIEVES!!
