What a wonderful experience. It's an absolute privilege to be up close with these magnificent animals. There was an excellent informative and highly entertaining description of each of the horses along with history of the heavy horse breeds, their uses and breeding. Richard who runs the place is a snowman and kept the crowd laughing with his anecdotes. His knowledge of the individual horses was detailed and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The cafe is excellent. The decorations on Romany vardos were hand painted and beautifully intricate. There's an area devoted to the moving history of war horses in WW1. Iron age pigs, shetland ponies, horse drawn cart or tractor rides are among the many things to see and do and there are some beautiful and well kept rabbits to pet too. A wonderful day out. I would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent day thank you. Very family aware. The attractions great The heavy shire horses are so beautiful and so well loved. ( Could do with larger loo area for the girls ! & Checked on regularly). As a carer for a disability child could you please make it clear the required . As most places either charge for child or carer with proof doc in place.
