Slades Farm

Perfect place for Longleat, farmhouse with lots of land in a lovely quiet area. we stayed here one night as a family of five we had two rooms and the hosts were absolutely lovely, they were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, lovely breakfast in the morning you could choose whatever you wanted from the menu and there was also buffet of cereals and fruit etc. We went to Longleat which was about 20 minutes drive and we would definitely stay here again if we go down that way. They have two dogs that were kept completely contained so you didn't have to worry at all , however our kids wanted to play with them and the owners let them and they are very very friendly. There was a lovely pub with a walking distance however we didn't book and we couldn't get in so we drove to a nearby place about 15 mins drive, that had lots of restaurants Prezzo, Frankie and Benny's etc and we were able to get dinner there. Safety: Felt very safe here

Delightful stay in the beautiful Poppy Pod. Spotlessly clean. Very well equipped. The low ceiling in part of the pod added to it's cosy charm. Good size shower. Was useful to have hobs to cook our pasta dinner. I will add that the matress was very uncomfortable, far too soft so sank down and could feel wooden bed slats which was a shame. A firmer matress and firmer pillows should be considered as it hurt our backs. However I would still recommend as everything else was perfect.
