The Adventure playground is enjoyable for children, lots of play equipment to climb on, picnic benches to eat at and a lovely walk through the trees. Lots of space to run around and stunning views from the garden and beyond. We booked and paid for the Castle on a week day as an educational visit however on arrival we were told they were running guided tours only at specific times. With two young children we really would have liked to wander around at our own pace, exploring- (perhaps a bit quicker than the guided tour!) something to consider perhaps with little ones. Overall really enjoyable just missed exploring the castle.
