Sadly I had to look for a care home for my partner who suffers from Alzheimers back in July. Living in Edenbridge, I knew that this care home had just been built, so I made some enquiries. The administration staff were very helpful and understanding in ensuring that the services offered were in my partners best interests. Generally you only hear about negative incidents involving care homes, so naturally I had some reservations, bearing in mind that this will more than likely be the place where my partner spends the rest of her life, but I could not be happier with the care she is receiving. The staff are always willing to talk with me about any concerns I might have or any issues that arise concerning my partners care. Choosing a care home in my circumstances, was the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but all the staff there have made the transition as seamless as possible.
