        I am here after a muscle wasting disease and it is a temporary stay while waiting for an apartment. The staff of this house can only say that I really had a very bad opinion about such places and here it is like in a family home I admire the employees for their dedicated and very hard and responsible work on the residents there are a lot of people with dementia here who need to spend time because they are people who have their own world I have witnessed many times how a resident called a nurse and could even spit and even hit and the nurses hugged them like children. I have full respect for the staff in this place and the food I have to defend myself and explain why I lost my appetite shock within 5 months I gained 6 kilos the food is tasty and the portions are so large that it is impossible to pass it.

        Just attended the June 2019 Table Top Sale at Ash Cottage and it was brilliant !! It really is a lovely care home and the staff are all so very caring for all the residents. How do I know ? My Uncle Albert celebrated his 102nd birthday in their care yesterday and it was a smashing occasion. Well done Ash Cottage for being so caring and hospitable. Cheers David R.
