        Another sneaky tea time pint. Even though I have lived in the area for over 20 years, the Oak at Defford has passed me by as it's a stretch of road that I don't use. I was pleasantly surprised, especially when my pint and packet of crisps (Butty Bach and Piper crisps) was substantially cheaper than the local competition. The landlady was super friendly, will have to pop in again with my family to try the kitchen, I couldn't find any menu's online which is a bit odd in this digital age. Edit: it has closed down again. Sept 22
