We have been customers for many years.
Management changed and so has the atmosphere and price.
We ordered 1 mixed grill (for a teenager)x1 small plate fish and chips with pie for myself, 3 drinks 64.00 just over.
Charged higher price for fish and chips yet provided smaller portion..
My god son's mixed grill he was offered fries opposed to chips and no steak.
Not impressed and this has never happened there before.
So very dissapointed as we won't be returning.
Greed over time will push customers loyal like ourselves away.
We eat, paid and wanted to get out.
Shame as manager is a nice gentleman. But this is not how to cherish existing customers, especially when your location is in a quiet location
Also NO roast dinners now unless it's a Sunday. Our weekend is Tuesday and Wednesday, we asked to order but told no, not available.
Visited this week The White Lion, same order for less than 55.00 !!!
Looks like White Lion is now our local for mid week meals out
