Toilets were a bit so so, there was no handwash available even when staff use the same toilets and should be able to tell, and it's apparently checked hourly, and cubicles are a bit difficult for some people to use with the limited door clearance. There isn't a dedicated disabled toilet, but they wouldn't need one, considering it is an older building abd already constrained with the physical design and entrance access anyway. They were clean, though. The male toilets were missing a sign, but I was directed to them by staff.
Entrance to building has large steps, and may be unsuitable for some people, but maybe there is a ramp available upon request. You'd have to check. My mother had difficulty using the large steps to get in and out. I know it's pretty difficult to retroactively make buildings like this more accessible, but maybe it's something to look at in the future.
Staff were polite and helpful, and came to serve us at the table when we were taking a while to decide. Brought drinks to the table, too, when I went back to the bar to order some more.
Music unexpectedly ramped up at 19:00, I guess that's when they want the casual diners to get out and leave room for the drinkers. Although, it seems like it was a special event night, as the DJ that appeared mentioned 'singles night'. Didn't exactly see a sign going in, but maybe we missed it. We just went in for food and a drink, though, so that wasn't for us.
Overall, a nice enough place to eat at, but I wouldn't say it's for special occasions or parties, but fine for casual hipster dining and a 'quieter' drink without being dead quiet like a pub in the countryside. Not exactly suitable for kids that are too young, just with the design of the place and the menu on offer, but they're welcome, at least earlier on in the day (I don't know if there's a kickout time or not). Probably not for you if you want 'pub' food, either, it's a bit more 'hipster'.
