Charming, traditional village pub. The landlord has a dry sense of humour but don't let that fool you - the service we experienced was excellent. Our group was 30 minutes late for our table booking, and we were told that the chef wanted to close the kitchen, but even so we didn't feel rushed at all - the staff were friendly and we felt properly looked after. The food and beer were both exceptional. It's definitely worth a visit.
