A few months ago John plastered one side of our lounge, and took the extra time to deliberately 'age' his work so it blended in with the rest of the room in our 300 year old cottage... the results were amazing. John has just now finished thermal-boarding and plastering the ceiling and walls of our main bedroom and we could not be more impressed. John takes great care and pride in all he does, works very tidily, offers useful advice freely, and I can not recommend him highly enough...

We recently had John over to plaster our hallway and stairs (walls and ceiling). Having always been of the mind that DIY is the best way to guarantee a thorough job at a high standard, we were fairly sceptical that paying a tradesman to do the work would pay of. Having had limited experience of plastering our newly built bathroom recently though, we were more than willing to let someone else have a go! John popped over to discuss the job and take measurements, before providing a written quote within just a few days. On arranging a date, he popped over to pick up the keys the night before, and then completed the job within two days while we were at work. Not a bit of mess was left behind and the quality of the work far exceeded our expectations. Beautifully smooth, even surfaces and clean sharp edges - we are two happy customers! We are planning to get John back to do our lounge ceiling very soon. Thanks Acorn Plastering Services.
