CARA Hair Lounge

Been using Cara hair lounge for a few years now and recently went up North for an event and went to Mark Riley in Huddersfield only to be told what great condition my hair was in, really well layered and lovely colour and tones..What a cracking compliment to Cara. Cant thank you enough x

I am just back from a warm welcome and chatty hour with Cara and sporting another perfect hair cut. I am frequently stopped and asked who cuts my hair by both strangers and friends. She is dedicated to her craft and my only reservation when it comes to recommending her services is that it makes it ever more difficult to get an appointment with her!

Love Cara and her Hair Lounge. I found her four years ago (a few months after moving into the village, having had a couple of bad hair experiences nearby), and I now wouldn't go anywhere else. The salon, which is based in Cara's own home, is well-appointed, cosy and welcoming. There is always a range of quality hair products on offer as well as a beautiful selection of reasonably priced, locally handmade jewellery. If you're lucky you may also be greeted by her tiny dog Dexter! Not only is Cara a talented, meticulous, very professional hairdresser, she adds value to the experience every time because she's just such a lovely bubbly, caring person. Hoping she'll even do my wedding hair next year!
