I arrived at our compound this morning to find a vehicle with a puncture, my first call was at 07:45 where I gave name, number, location, vehicle reg etc. and was then put on hold? After a couple of minutes another person picked up my call and asked how they could help I repeated everything again and was told he couldn't process anything without my account number, not something you remember off by heart, I asked to speak to somebody else preferably a manager and was told nobody was available so as I was getting nowhere I hung up
I waited until a minute after 08:00 and rang again, this time I was answered immediately by a young lady who accessed our details straight away and said she would get somebody out as soon as possible, she knew we were supposed to start picking up passengers at 09:00.
At 09:10 nobody had arrived so I called again asked for an ETA and was told 5 minutes. At 09:50 still nobody so my colleague rang again and was told 10 minutes. The Fitter finally arrived just after 10:00 and the vehicle was on the road by 10:30. I must say I cannot fault the guys on the ground, they handle fleet checks on our 14 vehicles and always do a good job but the Admin side of things is atrocious
I did ring and asked to speak to somebody in Management because I wasn't happy but after being put on hold for 10 minutes I was told that there was nobody available to speak to me and somebody would call me back, I am still waiting
