Absolutely appalling service I have worked for the post office for over 25 years and if we gave a service like I had we wouldnt have kept our job no smile no eye contact no thankyou for waiting nothing at the end of the day its the customer that pays your wages so respect and being courteous plus asking the right questions is customer care sorry no stars whatsoever I would have given no stars but it wouldnt allow me to.

The Post Office according to Google Maps would close at 5:30pm. I got there at 5:19 so 11 mins before closing and asked if I could pay some cash into my account. Two very impolite ladies immediately protested, "Not really, at this time, we are about to close. You can't just come in here right before we are closing, we have to do our cashing up!", To which i responded, "I'm sorry but according to your Google information you are open?" Btw. there was not a single customer there and when I arrived neither of them was busy doing anything, in fact, they watched me walk down the isle all the way to the counter like a predator watching their prey. They grudgingly took the money (which took less than half a minute to count and for me to confirm on the pin pad), then the lady "enquires", where I got the money from?? - it wasn't a few pennies but neither did I come there with a stack of it! Absolutely worst customer service i have ever experienced in any post office in the UK. Appalling.

The staff there are clearly unhappy in their job. My suggestion to them is to just leave and work somewhere else. I truly think they despise customers. Another level of anger and rudeness. I feel like they possibly need counselling or something
