My glasses where broken, leg having come clean off. I had gone in to discuss options for what I can do.
Not expecting the earth. Breaking my glasses is not the fault of the store of course. But I was expecting the same level of excellent service I have previously had at the west quay store.
Instead I encountered the rudest member of staff I have ever had the misfortune to come across at any store. My glasses had barely touched the counter when the gentleman aggressively asserted my only option was to buy new frames.
What would have been great would have been some effort. Some pride even.
It would have been great if gentlemen had taken the type to great me with a warm hello.
It would have been lovely if he had taken a second to assure me he knows how annoying my situation is but he would do everything to help me.
I would have loved if he could have taken the time to search my profile on the stores system find out details about my glasses find out how old they where. Find out if I had taken out any warranties etc.
Instead I was asked why would I do that?
Maybe an off day for the gentleman.
But either way I will be staying away from this store.
My glasses a very important to me I have a dreadful prescription and they mean as much to me as any other person who depends on a piece of medical equipment to maintain a basic quality of life.
