Absolutely a shocking company !! Avoid at all costs- If your insurance broker has these as there representative then please please dont take the insurance as it not worth the paper its printed on and they will find ANYTHING not to help you with ANY genuine claim. My roof fell in due to storm damage and a engineer came out to check and take photos (didnt even go on the roof ) to say it wasnt storm damage within dates they he thought it happened (joke) could of been months ago and got worse. To be told should of check my gutters so many times a year (which they was with roofers receipts) still didnt help me Avoid at all cost guys !!! These con merchants just take your money and do not help I even shopped around asking for favours to get the cost down so it wasnt a big claim, it was 5800 for a new roof/ wood joints and rubber in the end I got it to 2650 from a chap I knew who really helped me and they still didnt help Not even half the bill. Just make sure people these dont take your money.

Absolutely terrible Our claim for flood damage to our home was approved by our insurer in middle of December 2022. It is now January 18th and our claim has still not been settled. There is no communication from GHG as to what is going on. I have been emailing them constantly for updates. but the claim handler never replies. They have no concern for my elderly wife and myself a disabled pensioner and never again will I use an insurer associated with GHG.

Always keep me on hold and never return my calls. The handlers don't check their own emails before responding to you, often asking for information they already have. Because of these reasons, I would never use this company again or have a single good word to say about them. We are in a cost of living crisis and due to their delays in responding / general lackadaisical attitude to the cover I paid UP FRONT AND IN FULL for, I am being told I NEED to wait another 10 days or more. When THEY missed the information I ALREADY sent them. Have I spoken to my call / case handler since confirming the details - No. Have they got all they need and had it over 7 days? Yes. Should I wait another 10 days because they can't open their own emails, xmas round the corner? NO.
