Halfords - Eastleigh

After major service at Halfords I received quotation to replace discs and break pads on all 4 wheels for 1400 (in this branch). I obtained quotation from Kwik Fit in Chandlers Ford nearly half of the quote above (for the same brand parts and labour) and once I dropped off for my car for works to be carried out they called me back to say that they dont need replacement at all for another year or two! Interestingly a guy from Halfords in Eastleigh was more than happy to replace all of them knowing that they dont need to be replaced.

Me and my partner met Greg who helped us find a bike for our 8yrs old daughter. He was very informative on each bike and what was the best choice for our daughter. Truly great asset to the business.

Picked up bike as arranged, opted for the build in store. Got bike home and found that the folding device was incorrectly assembled on the handle bars. The retaining spring was not attached to the stem. A few days later a couple of bolts worked loose whilst on a ride. I have since downloaded the assembly instructions and gone over the bike ensuring that each nut and bolt was torqued to the correct setting. I had assumed that this was done at the store, I would advise anyone have a bike assembled in store to double check the workmanship. I am happy with the quality of the bike.
