We arrived at the restaurant and was served by the lovely waitress Jessica who was very understanding throughout our terrible experience. After browsing the menu we decided to order the chipotle chicken to start, after tucking into this I then noticed that there was a piece of chicken which was served red raw, this appalled me! The kind waitress checked this straight away and spoke to the chef who advised they will have a look but the chicken is probably red due it being from the thigh, I immediately thought that this was not right. After further examination from the kitchen the chef confirmed that the chicken was in fact not cooked properly and was raw, the manager then proceeded to apologise. Then the main course came out, my partner had ordered his steak medium rare and it came blue, this was then taken back to the kitchen to be put back on the grill. After this horrific experience it is safe to say we will not be coming back to Miller and Carter again.

My husband and I both had rump steak which was cooked to perfection. The choice of sauces are sublime and love the added touches of the onion loaf and iceberg lettuce with a choice of accompanying dressing Kid-friendliness: Children present throughout the restaurant and made welcome

A little confused on arrival as there didn't seem to be anyone to book us in. Staff did, however, appear and were polite and helpful. I had originally booked for 2 then left a message the evening before with my name and number. I was then called back the following day. I explained I wanted to add 2 - 4 others to the booking. I was told 6 places would be reserved ad I could change that if needed. There was no issue with my request and we ended up as a party of 4. Service was great once we were seated. Very attentive and professional, explaining the menu options etc. Getting us drinks and making sure we were happy. Food was of a good standard. Steaks were (apparently, I had salmon!) fntastic. The birthday boy saying it was the best steak he had eaten in years! I found my salmon dish a little oily but the flavours were good. Generally very happy. Parking: Plenty of easily accessible spaces
