My family and myself as been with this practise for over two decades. The service in the past 8 years has been awful. And it is increasingly becoming worse. The changes are not supportive they infact make no difference. For an emergency on the day appointment. You have to call at 8.00 but if you are then put in the automated line after number 10 you won't get an appointment. I call to the exact hour of 8.00. Programmed in order to attempt qnd still it is difficult to get through because the level of patients all required aan appointment. Routine appointment at one surgery go up every two eeks. But the day and time the appointments are on the system no one knows. Patients are told to call in daily at any time to try. To see if any new diary has been put on the system so that they can book routine appointments. The other surgery don't have booing appointments in advance. You have to call up on the day at 10.00 for the next two days appointments. You cannot book online and myself and other patients have had appointments canceled more then once for the same appointment. There is a consistency of locum doctors and absence leaving a shortage of doctors at the surgery. There is no complaints system online or procedure. When you call to complain you are told office mangers deal with communication of complaints but then there is no email or direct line for them. So reception filter the calls. And often the office staff don't take the calls. Or not calling patients back that complain. I have complained about the difficulties with this surgery and communication directly to the NHS quality and complaints and anyone that cannot complain at the surgery i would advise this way. I understand the need and change in times but I feel too many patients have been taken on the books. With that and lack of doctors it has made appointment impossible. Which has created lack of communication and quality within itself.

One of the worst GP practice, where one member of staff says come at 8 to avoid the phone que to book appointment and when you actually got there they say appointments are only over the phone. Even if a patient is dying in front of them they wont give you an appointment. So disgusting

The receptionist staff are very helpful. However, to get to see a doctor is next to impossible.
