This week BeValued replaced my cooker hob as per our insurance settlement with a new one but the the display sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I asked if we could have one that works so we can see how to control the hob: so you can see to turn on which ring on and off and control how hot the rings are etc. No came the answer - speak to the manufacturer! Good business if you can get it supply a replacement that dost work then wash your hands of it. Dont go near the ironically named 'beValued'! Comedy gold.

My Macbook Pro went in to get fixed under "Accidental Damage" due to my contents insurance with SAINSBURYS INSURANCE (AVOID). I had a cracked screen that would need replacing. This was in July 2022. So they managed to fix it and then sent it to back to my home address. All was well until it wasn't. The screen started going fuzzy and it was completely unusable. So once again, Sainsburys insurance agreed it would need to go into repair again. So off it went back to here to get fixed. Months had passed, bad communication and in the end I went to the shop physically to get my laptop back and they said it was fixed and should be no problems, however if there is a problem, to go back to them. Again, it was all fine until a few days later I was having the same problem again. The screen was fuzzy and glitching. I am a graphic designer, have a disability and do my work on this Macbook which I spent years saving up for. Once again, they picked it up to repair (3rd time lucky?) and then my mother receives a call from Sainsburys insurance saying that they only cover x2 repairs (How does this even still count if the repairs haven't been fulfilled?!). In addition to this, BeValued are now holding my laptop, demanding 750 for it to be released to be in still a broken sorry state. I have now taken this to the Ombudsman and have no qualms in seeing this through the proper channels. I will go all the way. I would urge EVERYONE to avoid this place. 7 months of no income for my graphic design work in a cost of living crisis, demanding nearly 1k for the release of my still BROKEN Macbook. It's appalling and has really taken a toll on my mental health. It is my livelihood.

I was sent to "bevalued" by tsb (tsb to aviva, aviva to bevalued.) Agents are polite and well spoken. But service overall is simply terribly annoying. They delay you claim with X when you privide evidence they will ask for Y then don't respond. Send you form one company to another (don't seem to work together) They are all one and the same. Had to call them countless # of times, No communication from them. had to explain what the item was, given that they offered a much lower, value and quality item. They had no notion of my emails sent until I called to ask about the claim progress. Days after making the claim and although I hadn't be informed of the progress of it, I was sent the new insurance quote with the raised price of course. If you need to contact this company keep on top of them or they will delay you case with incoherent excuses as " that's the total amount of your insurance/compensation that we Can pay but we are not willing to pay" Be diligent people or Be-devalued. Ps. When they tell you that their super and great "validation team" needs to look at you claim it means they are looking for a way to "Value" you.
