Pacific Heights Apartment Exclusively Eastbourne

Firstly, Id like to state that the apartment itself was very well equipped, clean and the booking/key collection process was very straightforward and efficient. Amenities within the apartment couldn't be faulted. However, we were extremely disappointed with our stay. The main reason we booked this apartment was for the balcony/balcony view and as you can see from the image the scaffolding really spoilt this, we really should have been notified of this in advance, as it really took the shine away from the balcony view and gave the feeling of being situated on a building site, combined with the constant noise of associated works. Although this was disatisfactory, this was not actually the main reason we had a very poor experience. The night of arrival we decided to have drinks on the balcony and within 5 minutes of this we were greeted with a barrage of explicits from a neighbouring resident, we spoke with another neighbour/full time resident who confirmed this happens on a regular occasion and the lady in question is known for these outbursts which are not acceptable for 9 year old ears! This happened nearly every night around 8pm with an ambulance and police often attending. On the Sunday morning we were awoken at 7am by another resident shouting on his phone once again the language used was disgusting. We booked this apartment in good faith and had planned to spend most of our time in the apartment as I had to work whilst my partner and her daughter were to explore the local area. So when we was told to "go for a walk or a meal" and "let this blow over" didn't really cut it for me I'm afraid, this is a self catering apartment but from the moment we arrived we were not comfortable to spend any time here. No response required from the owner/business as we have already expressed our dissatisfaction which fell completely on deaf ears.
