Absolute shambles. Never has the kitchen open. Staff ignore you for ages while you wait to be seated. Might aswell close this place. Used to come here weekly now I'll never return. Gave it multiple chances to improve. Just a joke now

Ordered Veggie Croque . Waited 20 mins to be told they had no goats cheese. Agreed to cheddar...although original had cheddar as well. When it came it was brand...several slices of cucumber ( only veggie) and a very very thin slice of cheddar. Very disappointing!

We had decided to try patisserie Valerie in Eastbourne this afternoon, and have to say the staff were very helpful and friendly, the coffee was great, I had ordered a scone with jam and cream, thought Id treat myself but was extremely disappointed with the scone, what can I say, it was stale, flat and had been heated up, in the microwave and came to me very hot so I had to wait for it to cool before I could put anything on it . So we made a complaint to the manager, only to be told he had mentioned it to the company as he must have has previous problems before ,but was told ,they were sticking with the same people who made them, and to keep putting them in the microwave, ironically when we were making the complaint ,another lady came up with what looked like two scones, and was also making her thoughts know about them. Patisserie Valerie, needs to listen to its Manager, and its customers, otherwise people wont be frequenting it anymore and sadly it will be leaving the high street permanently .
