6 of us went for dinner and every meal was delicious, 6 empty plates. Lovely friendly staff.

No garlic bread. No garlic mushrooms. No starter. Main course was lovely. Desert great. Too many noisy kids! Felt sorry for staff. Haven't been for a couple of years. Won't be back for a couple more.

Visited tonight and experienced mediocre food as to be expected from the type of establishment. A first-rate service from one member of staff who ran around looking after everyone in attendance. Unfortunate that none of the other three working (including who appeared to be the landlady) were able to match anywhere near her energy and service. Listening to the radio playing from the kitchen while the different music played in the restaurant was almost as annoying as listening to the kitchen staff singing and shouting. Perhaps they should join the degenerate bar flies that occupy the bar area and allow someone with half an ounce of pride in what they serve, to try to improve the food. As far as Greene King establishments go, this is not a good example. The three stars are purely because of the one decent staff member.
