Shopped around for an estimate for an air source heat pump on my semi detached 1997 build in October 2022. Install, which took place in December 2022, required the removal of a number of microbore pipes and new radiators. The company came in competitively on price compared to others and they were honest about what needed to be done. Relatively few ASHP were being fitted nationally at that time so there were few plumbers fitting them. Most were pricing in stuff that didnt need doing such as a crane hire?? (800) and or scaffolding to locate ASHP but graphite seemed a bit more flexible and positive about the install and managed to lift into place by hand :) The 5k government rebate was a big draw on my decision to go for it Few problems arose which they hadnt factored in for but they accepted the cost of the additional work without problem. Theyre workforce were all friendly and they were honest about the fact they werent familiar with the particular unit they were fitting (Samsung) but they sorted out all the problems in the end and I was delighted with their work Would, personally, highly recommend them.

Like a similar review I was sold an unvented system, promised that I won't see any drops in pressure when using water from multiple sources and now I'm told I need an additional pump. I also had graphite fully remodel my bathroom. I cannot recommend them to anyone based on the quality of finish and issues with communication. I hate leaving a negative review for a small business but I hate more paying for substandard services.

Graphite has worked as my contractor to do my house renovation since Feb 2022. Chris Hobson, the owner, suggested he had a side-line building company to carry out building work. In my case, it was the extension of the kitchen, lodge, conversion of the garage to the granny annexe plus family bathroom & ensuite. Our house was a lovely old but well-built detached house with a beautiful garden with planning permission, architect drawings, and engineering calculations, party wall surveys. In reality Chris is a plumber who has poor knowledge of building work, and he fell out with his builder soon after they started our project. Therefore he hired an unqualified builder Lee Hewett. Due to the poor quality of the work, there were multiple leaks on the 18th of December from the newly built roof. After 4 weeks without intervention, we had mouldy walls and damp. It has cost us a great deal of delay and stress, despite the extra cost to re-do the whole roof, energy bill for heating up the damp, surveying, as well as the awful waste built up in our both front and back garden. Our neighbour has complained about the way Graphite and his sub-contractor carried out the work, as well as the damage of their garage door and drive way. I had to stop graphite ruining my house.
