Ham and cheese toastie on sourdough bread: the bread had the smell and taste of an old bookshop combined with cleaning fluids; the ham was inedible. The curly fries: good flavour, texture was chewy, but very greasy. Egg, bacon and sausage muffin was excellent.

Ordered around 50 worth of breakfast for 4 people. Food turned up cold, chips were undercooked, bacon was very crispy. Ordered 4x beans only got 2x worth. Ordered ice cream milkshakes that were 3.50 and were supposed to be ice cream but definitely wasnt, tasted like nesquick with no coldness whatsoever. Tried to ring to explain that food was cold not up to standard and not received what I had ordered. Received a lot of abuse on the phone saying you are getting nothing from me. Tried to tell me my food wasnt cold even though I think Id know if it was. Shocking food, even my dog wasnt interested. Definitely would avoid

Very friendly owner makes you feel very welcome, we have booked for lunch on the first day of re-opening, would always welcome this place to all my friends, and dog friendly too Thanks Ian.

Good hot food , lovely clean cafe, freshly cooked food , quick service would definitely return to this lovely little cafe .
