Degrading service in 2022. No longer answers their phone. Ever! Very VERY long queues outside stretch around the building: approx 40min wait if collecting prescription from surgery. What happened to this good pharmacy? They now dispense prescriptions off-site, meaning one item from your GP issued for a consult can take 3 days. They CAN dispense onsite, but act like you're asking for blood. They seem indiscriminate when sending scripts off for dispensing elsewhere. I get this is a volume thing, but Ive asked so many times that they dont send my items away to a hub for dispensing, as I travel a lot abroad for work and family, and my schedule isnt easy to manage visiting a pharmacy every month on THEIR schedule when they can be bothered to summon you by text (which is sporadic and unreliable as well). Im in my 40s, not an OAP with nothing more to do. Im sick of asking nicely for them to dispense on site, only to be ignored. Used to be such a good branch during covid. If they're missing stock, they dont tell you until you've waited 40minutes. If you ask them to check 2 items up front, they huff "have you run out?" Why? Do you have a secret stash? I just dont want to wait 40mins only to be told 1of 2 items isnt available until 24hrs later! Rude. If asked to wait outside, they often forget you, or someone peeps out after 40mins, whisper-mutters a name noone can hear and vanishes in under 2 seconds, leaving the waiters looking at each other and asking "what did they say?" Minimal shop floor stock, often cancels appointments for flu jabs with no notice. You turn up for your booking and they shrug you off citing no stock to administer. When you point out you're immuno-compromised & they already cancelled twice, they suddenly produce the stock! Who were they saving it for? Pls honour your bookings and dont start policing NHS-approved bookings when you dont have your facts in order. Unprofessional, out-of-line. Really no longer worth driving out of your way for. Sadly the way of pharmacy in greedy multiples on an NHS budget that barely pays enough for minimal wage skeleton crew.

Very friendly and helpful staff ,do not open on Saturdays,but staff very food considering the pressure they are under.

I checked the opening times today before I went and it stated Weds 9-6pm. When I got there a rude assistant was locking the door for their lunch break of 1-2 and said they had had that for 2.5 years, implying I should have known. I told her that this was not detailed on their website, and she just repeated the 2.5 years. Surely they need an up to date website, and should a pharmacy shut at lunchtime when people have time to visit?
