I collect a prescription on my behalf of my wife every week. Whenever I enter the pharmacy I have never once been greeted with hello or good morning. Last Saturday I called in, one pharmacist was on the phone and the assistant walked away from the counter when I entered. Neither looked or acknowledge me by looking or speaking. I stood without recognition for 12 minutes whilst 2 more customers entered, again being totally ignored. Eventually a voice said 'can I help you' and the assistant served me, her only communication being' what's the address and postcode'. I left ater a total of 20 minutes saying goodbye without any reply. By pure chance the pharmacist entered my shop to purchase something and was greeted with 'good morning how are you'. She did not recognise me even though I it is the shop next door. Today I collected a prescription and once again received no greeting except 'can I help you'. The older female served me, again with the only communication being' address and postcode'. On leaving I tried again to be polite saying 'have a good day'. True to form she said nothing, turned her back and walked away. Do you have staff training? If not I recommend you begin asap. If this was not a pharmacy that people need and just a general store no one would ever go back. Your sign instore says 'you will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse ' rightly so '. That does not mean you are entitled to treat me in a way that makes me feel uncomfortable and a general nuisance to you. As a business that has been established, and very successful for over 30 years I feel I can make these observations with foundation and credibility. If we treated our customers as you treat yours I doubt we would still be trading. Finally I note your rating is very low. Our rating is nothing but 5 stars. I rest my case.

Worst experience ever. Went to the shop in late afternoon to buy a cream which was advised and recommended by my GP. The male staff was rude and refused to sell the cream as he felt the purpose of the cream wasnt right. I even showed him the consultation note and it said clearly what the cream is for but the guy still insisted not selling me as he still didnt think the cream can be used on the rash. His attitude was rude and didnt listen to the customers. Waste of times!

When Tom Saunders was in charge it was run like a well oiled machine to the highest standards but since he has moved (a couple of months back) it has deteriorated into a inept and ramshackle operation. The shop doesn't open on time. Witness a gentleman who'd had to return 3 times for important medication that wasn't ready and had rightly objected. Meds were sort of done on 3 attempt but he was made to jump unnecessarily through hoops by some young woman, to establish whether he was the right person including asking him for identification!! Since when do they have that right considering he'd answered everything else correctly and knew the drugs involved?? The meds were bagged up but she said they had to be re-checked?? Present staff are inefficient, rude, ineffective, impolite, lacking in empathy and understanding and non too bright. My advice was for him to go to Kamsons. I do hope he takes it.
