My parents joined the independent living section of QACH about 15 years ago. When my mum became ill she was moved to the Care Wing for her final months. Dad remained in the independent area until last year when he too moved into the Care Wing when it became impossible for him to function independently. Throughout all of this time and through the difficult periods of illness and transition the staff at QACH (in both the independent and care sections) have been brilliant, frequently helping, supporting and caring well above their job specifications. The ambience, the activities and the desire to provide fun and variation for the residents has been terrific. Despite the obvious difficulties that the pandemic created, all attempts to help and support my father were exceptional. Additionally communication throughout this time was maintained with my wife and I with ease and clarity that constantly provided reassurance. The building itself is first class with lovely lounge areas and splendid gardens. We are so grateful that my parents were able to live here: I don't think that a better final years experience could have been found.

QACH has been an absolute god send, they have taken very great care of my mother and step father, (who has been moved to LeBrun house for his needs to be taken care of), especially during lockdown when sadly the both contracted Covid19. With the subsequent onset of dimentia in both parents they went above and beyond to help both my parents and my wife and myself dealing with all issues in the most professional manner. I can whole heartedly recommend Queen Alexandra Cottage Homes to anyone. Thanks. Chris.

We recently had a personal issue, it's only then I truly appreciated how much the staff are willing to bend over backwards to help. The whole family couldnt ask for more. Thank-You
