Nearly two years ago my dad stayed there for respite .Hope things have changed dramatically since then as it was appalling care, in fact I put a safeguarding on the care home for neglect as they left my dad for 3 days without oxygen that nearly killed him !!

terrible place to put our relatives the managent is appalling they dont care about the residents, lack of staff and knowledge unfortunately they respond because they don't have knowledge and it's all about the money this house its a scam please don't put your relatives over there because they don't care they think the CQC rated good but they don't tell you they've been warned they are coming to check the carehome and the residents are afraid to move away from the house because they don't tell the truth ...this people are scramers they just think about MONEY and thesypretend to have a chef who preheated frozen food... Disgusting!!!

Unfortunately very disappointing. Despite their willingness to take on dementia patients, they seem ill equipped to care for them adequately. While Im in no doubt the nurses do the best they can, leadership and common sense regarding dementia appears lacking. Management have proven unhelpful, obstructive and, quite frankly, to disregard the concerns, the needs and the wellbeing of both the resident and the residents family. Im sure for its more cognitively capable residents the home is sufficient, but for dementia sufferers, highly unsuitable, even for short term respite.
