Jen is a patient and friendly teacher. She has knowledge of a variety of different styles and genres of music, providing pieces and exercises that help to better understand and experience these, as well as improving my playing complex rhythms. She has clearly explained different techniques, more theory-based aspects, and how to use them in your own playing. She gives precise feedback and ways to improve, while also giving options on how to add your own interpretation to a piece of music.

Jen is very professional, encouraging, patient and easy to understand when teaching technical points. She creates a safe, nurturing environment where I can get the most out of my lessons with her, whilst managing my expectations. I have no constructive criticisms or negative comments, she is the best music tutor I've ever had, and i will happily tell anyone who would listen
