Beachy Head Chaplaincy Team Ltd

Despite needing volunteers the Beachy Head Chaplaincy Team is a strictly Christian organisation and will not accept non-Christians or any volunteers from other faiths. In their role of supporting people in a suicidal crisis I am surprised they are allowed to get away with this. Their policy leaves them open to criticism including of putting their religious beliefs first instead of representing our community.

These people completely ruined my day at Beachy Head. They randomly assumed I was suicidal, which I assured them was very much not the case, followed me around for up to half an hour and made three attempts to get me to talk to them, when I'd made it clear I didn't need their help. They then randomly called the police, who intercepted me but obviously realised eventually that they'd been called for no good reason. Intrusive religious organisation who need to train their volunteers much better.
