GROVE ROAD SURGERY

Despite calling exactly at 8 o'clock, I was left waiting in the queue as the 27th caller. This is an appalling level of service and indicates that the practice is severely understaffed. The rude and abrupt attitude of the receptionists and the prolonged wait times make this practice a highly undesirable choice for anyone seeking medical assistance. The only positive aspect of this practice is Stewart, who provides some respite from the otherwise unsatisfactory service.

I have had nothing but great service since rejoining this practice, attentive doctors and helpful reception staff. If you use the NHS app you can book GP telephone appointments online for the next day or a day of your choice. My old surgery were useless in comparison, the negative reviews dont reflect my experience at Grove Road Surgery.

It seems to be a lot easier than you would think to get appointments, and the service is very good

Been with this surgery since 2008. Its gone downhill so much I'm looking for a new practice. Doctors don't listen if you are lucky enough to speak to one. Dr. Grant was amazing but he has now left .Never get an appt. Due to stupid 8.00 am system. By 8.20 if you are lucky enough to get through, all appts gone!! Nurses and paramedics are the best though. Just wish its easier to get appt with one of them. Shame cos they used to be an amazing practice.
