        I was impressed with the initial eye test. Unfortunately they then got my phone number wrong so I didnt know when my glasses were ready, and got the prescription for my glasses wrong, so I then had to wait for them to be redone. I requested a detailed invoice by email but got no reply. There are a lot of very favourable reviews so maybe I was just unlucky, but I wont be returning..

        Awful customer service, no communication. Still waiting for 6 months for frames to come in to try. Use another independent optician and save your time. This was the Eastbourne branch.

        After unsatisfactory experiences at well known chain opticians I opted for a more personalised service and found all aspects of Botts services professional and helpful. The quality of the frames are well worth the cost. Definitely the best glasses I've ever had are from Botts.
