Unfortunately for me I had my car damaged from this garage. Lovely guys, great prices. My drive belt snapped and I turned up to garage for them to fit a new one, they said they wanted to check that nothing caused the belt to snap, to which I agreed. Next morning installed new belt and told me everything with pulleys and etc was fine so must of been a weak belt. Also the Car was in for a health check, got a list back of problems, one of problems I got them to fix was to try move engine back away from the front radiator. Ollie said he will give it a go. Came back the gap between the front of engine and radiator was a little better so I felt good that he had done what he was meant to do. Ollie told me he used the biggest breaker bar to put down the middle between front of engine and radiator fan and was pulling and levering the bar to try shift engine back. Upon this process the bar used had chipped my A/C pulley wheel. I did not notice this untill a few days later. Because of the damage to the pulley wheel the drive belt tore alone that edge and twisted, popping off taking the tensioner with it ! I took car to have a new drive belt installed, they said they can install belt the same day or install in morning as they can check to see why the original belt snapped. I waited for morning and they said they checked all the pulleys and nothing was found maybe just a belt that had been on for a few years. So given that they didn't find this chipped A/C pulley before they changed the belt then I can only go off that fact after the new belt was installed by them and moving the engine back with a bar that was the cause of the chipped A/C pulley. Got car in bits, ordered a second hand A/C compression unit as the pulley is not separate ! Pictures will show chipped pulley from force to break the edge lip. So when they installed new belt the A/C compressor pulley was fine and they broke it after or it was already chipped but they failed to notice and so I paid for them to not bother looking properly and slap a new belt on as a result the new belt broke and now I have to replace this unit , either they broke it or failed to look and install the belt properly Service: Auto engine diagnostic
