Don is an excellent Karate instructor, with a great knowledge of kata applications and body mechanics. As instructors go brilliant,enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend

Don is a fantastic karate instructor. In over 30 years of martial arts training I have met only a handful of instructors that I could happily recommend to anyone. They are characterised by a deep understanding of their own art, a wider view of where it sits alongside other martial arts and a willingness to accept other approaches to teaching and training that go beyond the structures of their primary discipline. Finally they are honest about what they teach - in Dons case practical applied karate. Don easily fits all of these measures. He is one of the finest karate instructors I have ever had the pleasure of training with.
