Creams Cafe Eastbourne

This place has gone DOWNHILL ! visited this place today with kids, kids wanted to go and use the toilet downstairs, an aggressive rude Indian man (I presume is the owner) shouted at my daughter and I , in an agressive manner , " don't go downstairs, it's closed!" . The agressive man/owner , FAILED TO CORDON OFF THE STAIRWAY!!! Which would clearly signal to customers that downstairs was closed. Used to visit this place regularly, won't be spending money here again. also I DO NO NOT recommend families to visit here , as it is NOT family friendly. This aggressive staff member / owner obviously needs retraining on customer service skills. I hope this helps members of the public. There is another dessert establishment newly opened in the Eastbourne town called 'Sweet spot ' that I read will be doing groundbreaking rolled ice-cream and high quality deserts. I will be going there instead. Would give zero stars , if I could.

I was horrified at the time I came to Creams only to be served in a terrible manner. My waffle was undercooked and tasted raw inside which was absolutely disgusting. I bought this to the attention of the waitress there but she just looked away and continued to use her phone. I was in shock as Ive never recieved this kind of customer service before. Thankfully, another waiter intervened and prepared a new waffle, which was somewhat better. He said that it was the most he could cook it without even apologising for the first waffle which was uncooked and wasted so much of my time. The atmosphere is nice but the place definitely needs new staff as this is what had ruined my overall experience.

Came here with a friend and my 2 year old, we both had the cookie dough which we thoroughly enjoyed, and my 2 year old enjoyed a small bowl of ice cream. The staff were so friendly and super welcoming I look forward to going back.
