        Wife, daughter and myself had virtually a week at the Iverna Hotel. For a two-star hotel it is first rate in that category. If you want slightly more lavish accommodation then, maybe, this isn't for you. It was clean, beds were comfortable and had all basic amenities - shower, wash basin, cupboard and draw spaces for clothes, tea/coffee making facilities, bedside lights. The breakfast was absolutely superb. A five star hotel could not have done better. OK, like other hotels it was under-booked to minimise the risk from Covid but nevertheless, the proprietor Richard and his wife at weekends were so friendly and hospital making us feel so welcome. It was just ideal for us and would return again if we stay in Eastbourne in the future.
