The outside of the building & hallways, with new carpets, looked fine. Stayed for 1 night in a single room. While the bedding was clean it was stained & the bed creaky although comfortable. Skirting boards full of dust, suspicious stains/marks on the walls & carpet. The blind at the window was broken in a few places & definitely needed replacing. The bathroom felt dirty & then I noticed the floor looked like it needed a vacuum because there were black hairs dust & even nail clippings throughout, along with wall tiles that needed a good clean, as well as the sink. I hope it's just a case the hotel is in the middle of a refurb or something, however the doesn't excuse the dirt.

Clean but scruffy! The room itself was clean but could have done with redecorating. Bed comfy, but on removing bedding at the end of my stay, no mattress or pillow protectors. So plenty of stains! I bought a bottle of anti mould stuff and cleaned the mould off of the shower. The blind on the window was broken. The positives, were new carpeting, a clean/new toilet brush, free WiFi. A fan was provided to help eith the heat. TV was very handy with most channels A bit pricey for just the room, with its problems. But if your happy to put up with the issues, at least your guaranteed to be very close to the pier
