Rooms: I'm not sure. Nice and clean and plenty of room to move around in. Nearby activities: Beach , peir, lot's of things for kid to do. Safety: With 3 keys to the hotel or outside door inside door then room key. Couldn't find anything that made us feel unsafe. Walkability: It's a lovely long prom to walk up and easy to get to town on foot

We booked the event room for a surprise 70th Birthday party. Every single person who attended ( about 50) said the whole night was amazing. The room was perfect in size for us. It kept us all together, rather than splitting us into lots of little groups, which meant it kept us all mingling and enjoying everybody's company creating a good party atmosphere all night. Buffet was simply outstanding, so many different types of foods. We are not talking mini sausage rolls and vaulavons, but an all out choice of many, many snacks, sandwiches, cheese boards, fruit, cakes, seafood, and so much more, plus hot food, and well catered for allergies too, including coeliacs, vegetarians and vegans, which is no easy task on a buffet. the dj absolutely rocked all night, keeping us on the dance floor, and open to requests. Bar staff were truly delightful, and gave everybody the most excellent service all night. We respected the beautiful wallpaper and put helium balloons on the tables, and a banner on the buffet table, which was enough to create a good party room vibe. Just about every guest told me how great the room looked, with its funky floor and unique wallpaper, and how well it was all run. Absolutely no complaints at all from anybody, so that is commendable towards all the staff involved. And my upmost respect goes to Glen for making sure everybody was well looked after and catered for, now matter what was needed. Words cannot express enough, how much we enjoyed the night and we have the upmost appreciation for for all the staff involved. Job very well done. I highly recommend the East Beach Hotel, and will be definately returning in the future.
