This was my first trip with EF and thanks to this journey I fell in love with EF trips and meeting new people from all over the world. As for the city, it is very charming, located by the coast and famous pier. Meetings with friends on the beach and picnics were the best part of the trip. The dormitory is located 2 minutes from the school which is also a big plus. The school itself has a great atmosphere, all made of brick, and classes were often organized in the schoolyard. It's also easy to get to London for a weekend trip, about a 2-hour journey.

(Translated by Google) TO AVOID Very far from the promised idyllic stay. I went on a language trip to Eastbourne with EF for 2 weeks with a host family, the stay turned out to be so disastrous that with friends we met there, we decided to make a list of all the things that were wrong since our arrival. The list reached 68 points. I won't post them all, but I will group the most important ones. I was lucky to come across a good family, which is far from the case for everyone. Some families cancel at the last moment the fact of hosting students, others do not speak with the students they host, or who do not feed them. The families charge 5 per washing machine, which no one warned us about. The trip promised that, as soon as the Gare de France left, everyone would speak English (leader as well as students). Absolutely wrong. The French leaders speak French, the same for the pupils, and the equatorients speak Spanish between them, no mixture is made and nobody speaks English. The only times I had the opportunity to speak English were with my host family (I remind you that some do not speak with the students they host) Meals at noon are lunch boxes in which there are: triangle sandwich, small packet of chips, fruit, kitkat This will be your midday meals each day. Each. Day. Self-service, which means that some students take lunch boxes from other students, leaving some boxes empty, so students apparently do not eat. Everything is an excuse to make you spend even more money. Lunch (the triangle sandwiches are quickly inedible after a few days, you can pay for hot meals for 4-5 pounds), trips like Oxford (55 pounds) the fun pack (which we were sold as essential when the activities of the fun pack are often much less interesting than the activities of those who have not paid for it (45))... After speaking with people who have done other trips with ef (like Chicago for example), it seems to be the same story everywhere. There are other companies much better, avoid ef.
