So I just called up to make an appointment with the dentist because I'm currently pregnant and have toothache,but apparently I missed an appointment with the dentist in November which I didn't make apparently got sent three reminders which I didn't receive at all, I only just signed up to the dentist in October with my daughter as well so I haven't been to the dentist yet and wasn't told about any appointment made for me,also the lady I spoke to on the phone was very rude towards me and gave me a horrible attitude after I told her I didn't make an appointment do now I'm not aloud to stay on with the dentist apparently because of this when I haven't even been there yet its ridiculous.

What an awful customer service. This morning called to find out if they are taking new patient and the prices. Receptionist straight away put phone on me,which at first I thought it just bad connection after trying again and line saying busy. After another attempt same receptionist picked the phone and after asking the same question she put the phone down again. I am just querying not difficult to reply, unless you have zero customer service. Unless dantist practise train their staff to treat customer like this . I am glad I did not get any answers I could just imagine what experience I could have with them... absolutely shocked

Amazing place. Staff are all incredibly nice, friendly but professional. I really appreciated the reminder for my appointment because im always forgetful! My appointment was very good, I was very comfortable and felt quite happy and was satisfied with their services.

Booked what I thought was a normal dental check up to find it was actually a hygienist appointment, which I didn't want, nor asked for. I paid, under protest, but wanted to speak to the manager who I was assured would ring me the next day. No phone call happened. They also told me I hadn't been since 2019, which is nonsense as I went there in December 2021! It always looks so tatty in there too, and I'm not entirely sure if I've ever seen the same dentist twice? I won't be going back, I'll bite the bullet and go private in future for a far superior service. I have little doubt the "owner" will respond that my version of events is different to theirs, but mine is factual. EDIT : And at no point did ANYONE ring me to remind me of my appointment. All I got was an SMS message to say I had an appointment with Polegate Dental Practice. No mention of any Hygienist. And neither did the Hygienist introduce themselves as such when I arrived! So the response given is further proof this practice should be avoided as they also lie.
