This place has a new owner who ain't no clue about bikes its shut down no warning and people have their bikes stuck inside with no contact with anyone all I can suggest is go to rayment Cycles in Brighton

Firstly, I have always been an advocate and supporter of my local bike shop and in particularly The Tri Store having bought 3 bikes and used regularly for bike stuff and maintenance. BUT a recent change in ownership and complete change in staff- I dont think they know what they are doing and havent a clue about customer service Two months ago, ordered a bike - put down a 2k deposit. I was told after 3 weeks frame and all parts (except tyres??) had arrived- but 4 weeks of chasing and promises- still no bike - no really explanation or apology- but if the bike was there (?) clearly no body skilled enough to build- I assume?? So, order cancelled and after a battle I eventually have my deposit back The owner didnt have the common decency or courtesy to pick up the phone and apologies- or make any effort to resolve the situation. This all after a major spill on the road that happened 2 months ago (as LWCC club ride will recall!) - caused by mechanical issues- this being only 4 miles into first ride AFTER a service from the Tri Store. It took 4 return visits for the mechanical fault to be resolving Deserve ZERO STARS

Good honest advice. They actually advised me to go somewhere else to buy what I needed, rather than sell me something from their stock that would have been inappropriate and inadequate. I will definitely go back there, and I genuinely want to buy something next time because honest advice deserves recognition.
