I have just been in to see Tom. I am a FEMALE of the species! I felt a bit out of place going to a Barbers (that's for MEN surely?!) but I just did a walk-in. I watched him cut a couple of young chaps hair, he listened to them, discussed ideas with them before doing any cutting, then went in and done a really lovely 'Do' on them. Then I sat in the chair. My hair had'nt been cut for about 2 months and so was overgrown, shapeless and heavy in all the wrong places. I told Tom the sort of thing I usually have done and he added a few touches of his own (after asking permission first) and the outcome is cute as a button. Really pleased. When I came to pay the bill I was stunned, his rates are nothing like the extortionate amount the 'fancy' places charge and I found the atmosphere a much more pleasant one. Needless to say, I won't be asking anyone else to do my hair in furture! Service: Hair shape up
