North Lake Chapel Holiday Cottage

North Lake chapel certainly has the wow factor. Everyone in our party of 15 said wow as we drove up, then another wow as we went inside the entrance hall, and yet another when we saw the living space, which was beautifully decorated for Christmas with large tree, fairy lights and huge stars hanging from the beams. The place is very spacious, with large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and a large kitchen diner/ living room. Masses of things to keep our children (3 - 16 years) occupied including table football, PlayStation, games as well as being perfect for hide and seek. The owners have thought of everything you might need, plus there was a beautiful welcome basket full of basic items and all sorts of indulgent treats. The fabulous hot tub got lots of use by adults and children alike. This is truly a 5 star, luxury holiday home, our thanks to Rach for enabling us to have the most perfect family Christmas ever.

We have just had the most wonderful relaxing time at Northlake Chapel. Its a Beautiful converted Chapel in the most incredible surroundings, and a very practical living space for our group of 13. The bedrooms were decorated beautifully, and the kitchen and large dining table made meal times so easy and enjoyable, with all the necessary amenities to clear up quickly and move on to board games, TV, or just chilling out on the veranda with a cup of Tea and a book. There was plenty of living space for all ages, with a childrens area for TV and games, the Hot Tub was amazing, and the Fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows in the evenings and making wonderful family memories!

Had such a relaxing time in this gorgeous chapel - returning for our second visit and it won't be the last! Everything you need in a beautiful quiet setting, great for families of all ages, with plenty of flexible acommodation. Enjoyed the walks, local produce from the gift basket, the views and of course the hot tub! Looking forward to our next stay. Thank you :)

North Lake Chapel is beautiful, stunning and makes for the perfect location for a relaxing get away. Your be surrounded by the most glorious view of Dartmoor and Exmoor, as well as walks for all abilities. North lake is clean, well stocked and stacked with games and added extras. Rach and Si are relaxed, helpful and friendly but give you space to enjoy your stay.

North Lake Chapel has got to be the best self-catering place we've ever stayed in. There were 15 of us, ages ranging from 4 to 73, yet still plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing without feeling cut off from the rest of the party. Lovely large kitchen and dining space, plus excellent TV area with plenty of comfy seating beside a cosy fire, and even a different area for computer gaming. Apart from being in a beautiful rural setting with loads of nice walks, there were lots of things to do inside as well, including table football (very popular with the younger contingent). There's also a hot tub - perfect on a starry winter's night! We're certainly hoping for a return visit!
