        Burton Agnes Manor House is the original house before Burton Agnes Hall was built. Constructed in the 1400s it has stone columns with a vaulted ceiling, supporting the upper floor. There is a nine men Morris game Carved Into one of the pillars. You can access the upper floor from a stone spiral staircase. The upstairs is a large single room. Behind the Manor House is the well with the the treadmill, to raise the water.
