The Wold Cottage

Just spent the weekend here with friends and it was just what we needed. Such a beautiful place and we were welcomed with a loaf of bread that had been freshly made for us along with some lovely chilled bubbles. The accommodation was lovely and really cosy, had everything we needed and more! The courtyard was also a fab space with a huge hot tub bubbling away when we arrived. Will definitely be returning!

We have stayed at the Wold Cottage many times over the years, in all of the rooms, barn conversions and, this time, the newly converted detached Miss Wells cottage. All are of the highest standard; clean, comfortable, tastefully furnished and very well appointed. We loved it ! The gardens are lovely; large, well maintained, and fully planted. Our private walled courtyard had a huge hot tub. All this in a peaceful setting - no traffic here! Derek and Katrina are warm and friendly hosts and have been very kind to us on those trickier occasions that life throws ones way sometimes. I cannot recommend The Wold Cottage highly enough.
